Les Caves Roties de Pente is named after the famed Cote Rotie appellation, “The Roasted Slope”.   In the far stretches of the Northern  Rhone Syrah is the king and just like syrah is to the Rhone Valley, the same can be said about the Dry Creek Valley here in California.   There is one place where great wine starts, the vineyard.  The Dry Creek Valley has such an amazing micro-climate and differing terriors that allow us to express the individual vineyard characteristics.    The vineyards that we source from each express an individuality that allows every varietal to complement each site.

Another key element determining our vineyard selections is sustainable farming methods.  Each vineyard owner guarantees that they will promote the most environmentally safe, viticulturally as well as economically  sustainable farming practices.  This not only benefits future generations of farmers but it ensures the enhancement of the grapes from vintage to vintage.  In order to express each individual vineyard we take the minimal intervention approach.  Old World in style, you will not see any over ripe fruit bombs, heavy oak aging or significant exploitation that would conceal the delicate nuances provided by each vineyard.  Each wine produced by  Les Caves Roties de Pente posses elegance, style, balance and structure that will create an experience for any connoisseur.
